Important: Scammers Using the NewEra Name — Read Before You Buy From Anyone

I want to address something directly because it’s come up and people are getting hurt financially over it. I’ve been made aware — and have confirmed — that there are scammers out there actively using the NewEra name, my domains, and my branding to deceive potential customers. Some have even attempted to exploit the VPS network. This is not speculation. It has been validated.

This is one of the primary reasons the filter blocker exists. Unauthorized users cannot access the service with my domains, period. If you were sold an account by someone other than me through an unofficial channel, the filter will catch it and usage will be blocked. If you thought purchasing and requesting a refund would still allow the use of the domains and VPS, you were mistaken. That’s by design. I feel for anyone who was scammed — genuinely — but some responsibility has to fall on the buyer. There are red flags everywhere, and I’m going to spell them out plainly so there’s no excuse going forward.

Red flag #1 — DMs. I do not communicate via DMs. I don’t initiate them, and I don’t conduct business in them. If someone claiming to be me slid into your DMs, that alone should have ended the conversation. The only exception is account-specific sensitive information that genuinely cannot be posted publicly. Everything else — pricing, availability, how things work, complaints — happens in public chat or open discussion where everyone can see it. Transparency is the policy. If someone is pushing you to go private, ask yourself why.

Red flag #2 — “I have a guy.” The filter has recently blocked a significant number of users who were sold fake or scam accounts. And if you spend any time on Reddit, you’ll see the pattern — it’s everywhere. Someone goes out of their way to vouch hard for or recommend their “provider.” Been with them for years, best service ever, DM me for the hookup. Think about that for a second. What regular customer goes that hard to recruit new clients for their personal streaming guy? They don’t. These are resellers operating in disguise, and there’s a very specific reason they hide in the shadows instead of running an open, accountable operation. It isn’t the reason they’ll tell you.

Red flag #3 — No proof, ever. The one thing these people all have in common is that they never produce actual evidence of anything. They make claims, talk big, and attack my infrastructure — which is real, documented, and has been validated by people far more technically credible than I am. But when it comes to backing any of it up? Nothing. Just noise. There’s a reason communities built around this stuff will ban any user who shows up with actual facts. They cannot afford an informed audience. An informed potential customer is a lost victim. All talk. No substance. No proof. That’s the tell.

Red flag #4 — No real community. Think about why these operations never build a proper, open community of their own. Accountability. If you have a community, people can find you when things go wrong. They don’t want that. This is the IPTV version of a dark web exit scam — disappear today, rebrand tomorrow, run the same game on a fresh set of people who don’t know the history. No paper trail. No accountability. No recourse for you when the service vanishes.

Let’s also be clear about something else: there is no other NewEra. Not a spinoff. Not a legitimate competitor using the name. Not a reseller with the same setup. There is one. This one. Anyone using the name is either impersonating or scamming — full stop.

Now, I’ve been called plenty of things. An ass — maybe, depends who you ask and I won’t argue it. Zero customer service — that one gets thrown around too. Here’s the reality: there is no competition in this lane. Literally none. Find me another reseller running VPS infrastructure. I’ll wait. You won’t find one, because there aren’t any. I took the exact services people were complaining about on a daily basis — the ones you’d see posts about constantly — and turned them into reliable daily drivers. That’s not marketing, that’s just what happened.

Hundreds of satisfied users don’t have much to say because they don’t need to. The service works. Competent users who can do a little legwork on their own end have made this their last stop for IPTV shopping, and that says more than anything I could write here. Solid infrastructure. Minimal service issues. No smoke and mirrors. If you have the know-how, this is where the search ends.

What I won’t do is apologize for not hand-holding. That’s not what this is. Plug-and-play users looking for someone to walk them through every step have plenty of options — the resellers hiding in DMs are more than happy to take their money right up until the exit scam. That’s a feature of this service, not a flaw. The people who are here get it.
