At some point a homelab stops being just a playground.
Maybe you self-hosted DNS, Home Assistant, backups, photos, media, VPN, or password management for fun… and then one day it went down and everyone in the house immediately noticed.
I’m curious: what service crossed the line from “cool project” to “this absolutely has to stay online”?
And did that change how you built it — UPS, monitoring, redundancy, backups, failover, etc.?
