Where domain hunters compare notes

I Built a lightweight alternative to AddEvent because of ridiculous pricing, now is the time for true feedbacks

Hey !

I'm a marketer and digital specialist in France. In my previous company, I had to create marketing emails for events and webinars, and wanted to reduce no shows by giving clients who subscribed to not forget when the event would start.

I discovered addEvent, it was good, but way too pricey for what it does in my opinion. So I asked myself, maybe I can create a tool for myself that can does exactly that.

Since i'm a marketer and web dev, I had a bit of expertise on what I wanted. But now, I need other people to tell me what they think of the value proposition.

So I built CalLink https://www.cal-link.com

The main focus was to get the base event builder, the ICS and famous calendar integration (Google, Outlook) and the RSVP to collect leads. It acts like a small CRM.

There is also an API access for programmatic event creation, workflows, contacts exports and automations. Because I'm too lazy to create 10 events by hands in the UI. I added a real-time tracking of clicks/saves.

So, after all that, I would like to get some really interesting feedbacks on the tool, the pricing and whatever you find good and bad in this tool atm.

I do have some doubts on the pricing proposition, because atm i'm not giving any "pro" features on the free plan.
I also still think some features are missing. RSVP atm can only collects name and emails, I'm working at the moment on a full forms system to create your own form. I'm also trying to limit the use of AI because it is also a learn and adapt work on multiple domains (marketing, IT, network, security…)

I'm eager to chat with you guys about this.

Sorry for my english, I know it's not bad but not good either.. French gotta be French !

Baguette.
