So, there's me testing an IPv6 fix in new firmware. Disabled IPv4 on the test machine to ensure I'm testing the right thing. Ping ✔️, DNS ✔️, open browser and access a test IPv6 site ⛔.
So I check the DNS records for the site… WTF, who on earth thought it was a good idea to run an IPv6 test site only on IPv4?!
Had me chuckle and baffled.
And what's with speed test websites running only on IPv4…
