The art of Aether Weaving is a simple yet complex power system, to start, you must first chanel Aether energy into your eyes and hands to see and interact with the ontological threads, these threads, are color coded, to the element that they control, red for fire, blue for water, brown for earth, green for wind, yellow for light, and black for darkness, these six threads make up the core threads, the core threads, mostly have one or multiple sub threads, for fire, there is one, that being lightning, for water, there is one, that being ice, for earth, there is two if you weave fire with earth you get a magma thread, but the main sub thread for earth is the metal thread, for wind, there is no sub thread, as if you weave it with other threads or sub threads you can get different reactions and effects, the light thread has one sub thread, the plasma thread, and the dark thread has one sub thread, the abyss thread, the power of an individual thread can cost more or less Aether energy to be able to perceive and interact with it, aside from the core and sub threads, there is one or multiple blank white threads often referred to as the "Null Thread" by weavers, a Null Thread, can control anything you can imagine, but the first thing you use that Null Thread as, becomes the permanent thing is controls, to "install" and element or aspect of reality into a Null Thread, they must imagine what they want that thread to control, the more abstract the concept or powerful it is, the more Aether energy it will take, for example, if you wanted the Null Thread to control time, you would likely use up more than your entire Aether reserves and suffer extreme Thread Burn, Thread Burn, is the natrual side effect to using the ontological threads past the point you have exhausted all you're Aether Energy, it causes severe psychological and physical damage, sometimes even draining your life force, for perceiving and interacting with the fabric of reality itself without protection is extremely harmful to a mortal, there are limited blessings and divine protections that interfere with Aether or the art of Aether Weaving, even most curses from the evil gods dont dare interfere with the domain of the goddess Hybris, the curse of Hybris and the blessing of the creator god are the only documented divine blessings or curses that interact with Aether Weaving, in some way, shape, or form, we will go over those effects after explaining a question you the reader may have, how does one get Aether energy? Aether energy, is usually obtained while you sleep, by projecting your soul into a highly dangerous and volatile dimension known as the Aetherium, your soul absorbs the ambient Aether Energy, some skilled weavers can consciously project their soul into the Aetherium while staying fighting, but, almost every weaver can only project into the lowest levels of the Aetherium, essentially at the peak of the iceberg, that is, aside from weavers unfortunate enough to have the curse of Hybris, upon activation, the curse will project your soul into the deepest parts of the aetherium, where the Aether energy is so thick your soul absorbs what usually takes a whole night to absorb in minutes, while this may seem useful, it has one major downside, if you absorb too much by staying too long, you will explode, and this isnt a small explosion, it often leaves a massive crater with no chance of survival, thus why this seemingly useful curse was named a curse, despite Hybris herself not being inherently evil, even having made her blessing do that because she wanted to help mortals, the other blessing that interacts directly with Aether Weaving, the blessing of the creator god, allows whoever is blessed with it to manifest an extra Null Thread once every decade or two, and this, is the end of the explanation of what Aether Weaving is
