Job hunting in Nepal sucks because the good companies post on their own career pages, not the big portals. I built SajiloHire to scrape all of them into one searchable place.
Pricing, per the sub rules: it's 100% free. No paid plans, no premium tier, nothing to sell.
The honest build story: I mostly vibe-coded it with Claude Code. The frontend came together fast maybe 3 days for the Next.js app (job search, filters, company profiles, salary insights, a bunch of free tools like a Nepali salary tax calculator / CV builder). AI is genuinely great at that part now.
The scraper was the actual hard part and where "vibe coding" stops helping and you have to think. Every company's career page is a different animal and i didn't want 285 python files.
- static HTML, WordPress, and JS SPAs (Next/Vue/Angular) that render an empty shell and bind the jobs a beat later so you get 0 results unless you wait for the right selector + a settle delay
- hashed CSS module class names that change on every deploy (had to lean on stable attribute selectors)
- hosted ATSs -> Odoo, Zoho Recruit, Workday, BambooHR, Ashby, Greenhouse each with its own quirks
- some just sit behind Akamai/Cloudflare bot protection and 403 a headless browser no matter what (looking at you, IHG)
- then the boring but critical stuff: dedup (same job, different URL), auto-closing listings that vanish, expiring past deadline jobs
A full run across ~285 company pages now finishes in about 25 minutes locally. (I think i will buy a vps later to run it using some cron jobs). Planning to run this daily at 12 am NST.
Stack: Next.js + TypeScript + Tailwind, Postgres , Python + Playwright for the scraper.
Cost: Domain and Claude subscription only. Supabase, Vercel and Resend all running on free tier.
