For context I work at AT&T, albeit as a wire tech (i install your internet). So no valuable experience on the cellular side but I'm not a complete idiot.
Had been on the Unlimited Premium PL for years and was using a Pixel 10 Pro XL. The pixel kept giving me enough glitches and random issues that I decided to swap back to a Galaxy.
Traded in the Pixel for a S26 Ultra. At the same time I ordered the S26 I also upgraded from the Premium PL plan to the Elite 2.0 plan. $12 price bump but the almost 200 more gigs of Hotspot was very valuable to me. Elite 2.0 plan also includes AT&T Turbo.
Have checked speeds multiple times, same locations and same time of day. On average around town with my Pixel on the Premium PL plan I usually pull between 400-800mbps. Now since getting the Galaxy on the Elite 2.0, the HIGHEST speed i have seen is 50mbps.
Everything's updated, have reset network data settings, tried using a Cloudflare DNS like I always used on my Pixel. Nothing, just 50mbps. But it's just on cellular, I can pull 2.5 gigs at the house on wifi 7.
Might just call to see if something didn't get provisioned right, idk. Don't know if it's the network or some random phone setting at this point. Any ideas?
