So my pc has failed to launch elden ring for weeks now. Every once in a while, I try to troubleshoot the issue but have yet to find a solution. I've started using Gemini on my browser to narrow down what it could be, just copying the log notes into the search and trying the suggestions. It seems something is causing it to crash because of an instability with the IPV4 server, or at least thats what Gemini seems to think
For clarity, the line of code im seeing in the logs is something akin to "item 123456 DNS cache idle for 61 seconds, closed" whenever it crashes
Any ideas what i should do are appreciated guys. I've tried
deleting the download cache in steam
deleted any files that showed up in the logs under "failed to load x of 100 chunks" and verified files to get fresh files
Set the game.exe and easyanitcheat as administrator
Downloaded the newest windows updates in settings
