Can’t get rid of ads on a specific site

Greetings

I use Brave Nightly both on my Android and Windows 11, and a few weeks ago, ads suddenly started to appear on one specific site, on Android version only.

I can't tie this to a specific event, like Android Brave Nightly update and there shouldn't be anything special about the site in question, it's a local news site, I believe it's displaying standard Google ads.

But this is the site I visit most so I'm relly eager to find a solution. I haven't noticed ANY ads on any other sites, which is mind-boggling for me.

What I tried so far is: block ads aggresively and block elements under Shields, delete data both in Shield and Android app, block all cookies … nothing helps

The only thing that helps is turning Shield off, and then on again … but I have to do this every time I load any page/article, so not really a solution.

I didn't want to unistall Brave Nightly (and I tried deleting data already) so I installed Brave Stable release on Android side by side, and it's the same, I see ads on this specific site!

If I turn on adguard dns ad blocking in addition I actually don't see ads anymore, but that is not a solution, especially since many public and work wifi connections are blocking connections with custom dns.

Any ideas?
Possible to report this to Brave? Would they bother to look into this?
