About the Role
Amazon Philippines is looking for analytical, results-oriented Investigation Specialists to join our SEPO team in Manila. You will play a crucial role in investigating and mitigating online e-commerce risk, using sound judgment to evaluate complex transactions and prevent fraud.
Schedule & Remote Work Requirements
Work Arrangement: Onsite in Pasay for a 2-month training period, transitioning to WFH upon meeting performance milestones.
Location Eligibility: Must reside in Metro Manila, Cavite, Bulacan, Laguna, or Rizal throughout employment.
Schedule: 5 days/week (inclusive of weekends/holidays), 9-hour shifts (inclusive of lunch break).
Shift Details: 24/7 rotational operations, including night shifts.
Home Internet Requirement: Minimum 200 Mbps connection with at least 100 GB data cap from a reliable provider.
Key Responsibilities
Independently investigate, evaluate, and resolve complex e-commerce transactions and account security risks with high accuracy.
Exercise sound judgment with minimal supervision to authenticate customers and mitigate risk.
Collaborate with team leads, management, internal departments, and third-party vendors.
Maintain high individual productivity, quality, data security, and confidentiality standards.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with 1+ years of experience OR High School diploma with 3+ years of experience in investigations or a related field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
Flexibility to work rotating schedules, including weekends, night shifts, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Fraud, Trust & Safety, Payments, Security, or Banking domains.
Proven ability to analyze non-obvious patterns, make independent decisions, and handle complex conflicts.
Strong organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills.
Familiarity with basic automation and e-commerce processes.
