Can’t manage Domain DNS records

(Using the free month trial in case this matters)

I just signed up for M365 Business Basic a few days ago. I successfully added my domain and I'm trying to completely migrate e-mail from my previous provider to M365. I need to get my MX record and it should be in the admin center under settings/domain/mydomain.com then selecting DNS records and then Manage DNS. The problem is, its saying I need to subscribe to M365 to see DNS records.

I am subscribed all be it with the 1-month trial that I do intend to pay for, but why not enjoy the free month trial? I've tried reaching support through "Help and Support" , but I only get an option to call. (Update, now it doesn't even show the headset icon it previously had) When I call and follow all the prompts, it tells me to file a service request through support, but I already used the automated support assist which was unhelpful.

Is this maintenance loop something I'm going to be dealing with normally? If anyone can point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it! How is there no option to open a service request?
