As promised, here is an update on my homelab with new pix
- Management PC running Fedora (Nobara) 44 10Gbs Intel NIC, 32GB DDR5, 2TB Gen 4 SSD, 1TB SSD (Steam games), Geoforce Asus 5060TI 16GB, B850-F motherboard
- Router Protectli V1410 running OPNsense
- Main NUC (GEEKOM Mini PC IT12 MAX,Ultra 5 125U,64GB DDR4 RAM 1TB SSD) running Proxmox VE (runs Jellyfin LXC w/files stored on main NAS, Vaultwarden VM, Radarr LXC, Sonarr LXC, Homarr LXC, Homelable LXC, Uptimekuma LXC, Qbittorrent LXC, Prowlarr LXC, Byparr LXC, Docker VM, and Pi-hole LXC of course cutting out the middlemen and hiting the root DNS servers)
- 2nd NUC (GMKtec Mini PC Intel Core i7-1185G7 24GB DDR4 1TB SSD) running Proxmox VE (Runs Frigate)
- Main switch TP-Link Omada SG3210X-M2 8-Port 2.5G L2+ Managed Switch | 8X 2.5G Ports | 2X 10G SFP+ Slots
- TP-Link PoE Switch Omada ES208GP, 8 Port Gigabit Easy Managed PoE Switch
- Ugreen DXP4800 GT Main NAS 10Gbs running TrueNAS 25.10.6 running as storage for files running 1 docker container (Scrutiny) 64GB ram, 4x12TB WD Red Plus CMR NAS drives in Raidz1, 128GB OS SSD and 1TB NVME SSD
- Ugreen DXP4800 GT Backup NAS 10Gbs running TrueNAS 25.10.6 running 1 container (Scrutiny) 4x8TB WD Red Plus CMR NAS drives in Raidz1, 16GB ram, 128GB OS SSD and 1TB NVME SSD
- Ugreen DH2300 2 bay NAS 1Gbs running Ugos (DHCP) for quarterly offline backup 2x8TB WD Black consumer drives in raid0
- TP-Link Omada 7 Pro X, BE11000 WiFi Access Point, 10G Port, w/o DC Adapter(EAP773)
- 2x EmpireTech IPC-T54PRO-AS (2.8mm) security cameras (for Frigate)

- 2x 40” UWHD 4K Msi monitors
- 24” MSI semi-curved 240Hz Refresh gaming monitor (used mainly for system monitors)
- Brother MFC-2750DW Laser printer
- Yaesu FT-950 Ham Radio w/SDRIQ and Signalink MFJ2012 OCFD, Heathkit SB221 1500 watt amp, MFJ-986 differential Tuner
- Jackery 3600+ 21Kwh parallel backup power system running in ups mode (already had it and just happened to work really well as UPS with less that 10ms switchover so I don’t have to worry about shutting down when AC mains go out).
All stuffed into a 12U rack. Granted, the 8 port PoE switch, Omada controller, 2x Omada fiber to copper converters, Starlink router (in bridge mode) and power supplies/cables are all in behind the stuff you can see mounted to the rails (ran out of room and also ran out of ports….guess ill be upgrading to a larger switch or adding a 10Gbs 8 port Omada switch when I want to add something else…as we all know there is ALWAYS a something else 😉
Still have to do a bunch of cleanup organizing my workspace but the spaghetti mess is contained 😉
