UCG Fiber Uodate broke VLAN config with Windows DNS & AD Server

After updating my UCG Fiber to the latest firmware (10.6.101 security patch), the network ran fine for ~2 days. Then one VLAN (used by a Windows Server providing DNS for its workstations on the active directory and the UCG Fiber issues DHCP) lost all internet access, with no config changes made in between .

Diagnosis initially pointed at the server's switch port — it couldn't reach its own gateway while another device on the same VLAN could. Moved the server to a different NIC/switch port as a workaround. Set that port's profile correctly for the VLAN — the connectivity/DNS fault persisted anyway.

Tried to fix it by reverting the UniFi Network application to a previous version (10.5.67), but connectivity was only restored after rebooting the switch which the WIndows Server was conencted to.

Has anyone seen a firmware update cause an issue like this? And what could i change about my configuration so i can safely update the the latest version of the Network App (without removing my Windows DNS server configuration).

This also isn't the first time I've hit this kind of issue — a previous attempt to upgrade from 10.5.67 to 10.6.97 caused problems, and before that we had a firmware update on our Dream Machine Pro that broke things in a way isolated to the Dream Machine Pro line specifically. At the time we ended up buying a UCG Fiber to get back up and running, since it wasn't affected by that issue.

Any help is appreciated.
