I've done some basics with websites using host gator and nixihost and WordPress… so a friend came to me to help build a basic landing page to collect emails (using Kit) and have it be the homepage. I've NEVER heard of or used CloudFlare and it is complex! I added in the DNS records and turned off the proxy, but it's been 5 days and it's still not updated to show the website as the Kit landing page when typed in.
What am I missing here? I keep reading that it's not a host, and then others say it is a host… but the dates of these posts are all over the place. The verbiage in this thing (can't say host/domain/webpage).. is so complicated and doesn't make sense to me.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! It's just getting that simple Kit landing page I've made to be the home page for this domain they have with CloudFlare…. (please keep it simple, as again, I'm very brand new to all this)
