Issue with PS5 Pro connectivity

Hey!

Ever since I changed my router to a Wi-Fi 6 router (had a WI-FI 5 previously), I’ve been having major connectivity issues with my PS5 Pro. Sometimes the download speed drops to less than 1 Mbps, even though I have a 1 Gbps internet plan.

The PS5 is on a different floor from the router, so using an Ethernet cable isn’t really an option. However, with my previous router, I would normally get around 400–500 Mbps over Wi-Fi from the exact same location.

So far, I’ve tried:

• Switching from WPA3 to WPA2
• Using Google and Cloudflare DNS
• Setting a static IP on the PS5
• Changing the Wi-Fi mode from 802.11ax to 802.11ac

Unfortunately, none of these changes have fixed the issue.

Has anyone experienced something similar with the PS5/PS5 Pro and a Wi-Fi 6 router? Any settings or fixes you’d recommend trying?
