Hey everyone
I’m 18 and got my Baccalaureate in Économie & Gestion this year. I decided to pursue Cloud / DevOps Engineering.
My plan is to do 3 years at a public university, then continue at ESPRIT to finish my engineering degree, while learning and building projects on my own.
So far I’ve learned:
✅ Linux & Linux filesystem
✅ Networking, DNS, IPs, Ports, TCP/UDP
✅ Git & GitHub
✅ Virtualization & Docker
✅ APIs & SSH
✅ Processes, Services & Permissions
✅ Computer hardware & OS basics
I’m currently working on a Server Monitor project, and I’m also planning to switch from Windows to Linux, probably Fedora or Omarchy.
For those already working in tech: Do you think Cloud/DevOps has a good future, especially for someone starting now in Tunisia? Any tips or recommendations?
