Playing Spiderman 2 with retail disc on 7.62?

Let me give you some context: I have the original Spiderman 2 disc that a relative lent me, and I want to play it on my European PS5. My game is also a European version (PPSA08338). I've read that many of you have had problems getting this specific game to work. My question is whether I can play it with the original disc and game without updating the version. I'm currently on version 7.62, and I'm eager to play it after seeing the latest Spiderman movie, let's be honest.

Okay, let's get to the point: What steps should I take and what precautions should I take to prevent my PS5 from updating? Right now, the DNS is blocked, and it's disconnected from the internet cable, just in case. Could I still play it? If so, how?
