Question about internet connection on new WebKit jb

I'm using Vue now and I want to change to WebKit

Q1 .Does the new WebKit jb need internet connection every time u run it or just the first time ?

Q2 .I did turn off automatic updates and set my DNS to 62.210.38,117 , am i safe use WebKit now ?
