Hey folks, I’m about to move a small vibe-coded marketing site onto its own domain and would love to hear which setups people genuinely enjoy using.
The site is pretty light:
- One page built with HTML, CSS, and vanilla JavaScript
- Responsive layout with a few animations
- A simple contact form
- Roughly 20 images and other assets
- No database, user accounts, or heavy backend
What I need:
- Fast hosting with automatic SSL
- A custom domain
- Simple DNS access for A, CNAME, TXT, and MX records
- Redirect management
- Automatic domain renewal
- Low ongoing cost and very little babysitting
Would you keep the domain with Porkbun or Cloudflare Registrar, manage DNS through Cloudflare, and host the site on Cloudflare Pages, Netlify, or Vercel?
Or is there an all-in-one setup that makes domain, DNS, hosting, and renewal easier to manage?
I care more about clear ownership and an easy future handoff than fancy infrastructure. Bonus points if a client can log in later and understand where everything lives.
What would you choose today, and is there any provider you regret using?
Many thanks!
Vince
