On PS5, It’s been 3 days and I haven’t been able to join any lobbies in Helldivers 2, I can only play solo. It’s always stuck on “Establishing up-link to host ship” for about a minute then says “connection error: failed to join game lobby”. This goes for quick-play, ongoing missions, and trying to join friends. My name appears to my friend in white and only says “online” instead of on ship for example, but I can see his name in yellow and says “on ship”.
I have tried every troubleshooting method known. I force closed the game and restarted multiple times, restarted my ps5 multiple times, restarted my wifi router, changed DNS settings, tried a different internet connection (phone hotspot), deleted the game and reinstalled, deleted saved data and restarted, played the tutorial mission multiple times, cleared the system cache, rebuild database, I even tried to use a different account with a different country on the same ps5 but none of these have helped so far.
My friend logged into MY account from HIS ps5 and multiplayer worked perfectly fine but not on my ps5. I logged into HIS account, which works perfectly fine, with MY ps5 but multiplayer doesn’t work. Other online multiplayer games on my ps5 work normally and there’s no issues with matchmaking, it’s only on helldivers 2. My wifi is NAT type 2, 5GHz. I submitted a request to Arrowhead but they replied with an automated response with a list of all the troubleshooting methods I already used but unfortunately didn’t help and haven’t responded to me again.
The game otherwise works smoothly with no issues so far it’s just matchmaking that’s not working.
Can anyone help me please? I’d be really grateful if someone can give me a solution to this
