Daunt is down. A phisher is really trying their best to get that site offline. About 12 hours ago njalla took over the nameservers of daunt.[REMOVED] clearing the DNS records and making the site go offline. The only reply back we got is that our account got suspended for abuse. We believe they did this because of a false abuse report (we haven't seen the report yet).

This is quite surprising to us as the domain has been in operation, basically unchanged, since 2022. Out of all the operations dread operates, daunt's clearnet site is FULLY LEGAL. Unlike DeepDotWeb, daunt does not accept any referral commissions, affiliate codes, or even have paid AD placements. It just purely unilateral publication of links with no monetization or revenue connected to what is linked. It is content-neutral having a wide array of links for the darknet. It has no guides, opsec tutorials, invite codes, or special credentials. The laws of Costa Rica, which Njalla operates in, protects this content.

Njalla is one of the few registers who has stood up to the deplatformation of free speech and neutral technology sites. They helped dark[REMOVED] recover their site from a false abuse report. They worked on and with The Pirate Bay. We believe this is an impromptu mistake which can be rectified in time.

Clearnet domains are always at risk of take down due to the centralized DNS system the world operates on. Daunt's server is still online and reachable but the way people connect into it, has been deplatformed.
