Old setup:
UDM Pro > Flex 8 poe > U7 Lite
iPhone 13 Pro Max speeds: 3-400Mbps on 5ghz
Upgraded:
UDM Pro > Pro XG 8 poe > Flex 8 poe > U7 Lite
iPhone 13 Pro Max speeds: 6-700Mbps on 5ghz
I need mDNS, so iv kept the UDM as router for all vlans. I got the Pro XG for 10g ethernet, and I had no idea I was going to see massive speed gains for wifi. I really don't understand why, but I like it 🤙
consistent speed increase for other devices as well. its enough of a boost to make me look at the u7 pro xg for the next upgrade
