I've tried everything and I'm still having the same problem. I have a MacBook Air M4 and I installed Brave from the start. I've used the browser on the same connection as other devices, like desktop computers with Windows and Linux. I don't have any problems with those, but on macOS… for some reason, the process gets stuck in a loop and doesn't progress. On the same Mac, if I do the verification process from Safari or another browser, I don't have any problems. I've done the following:
– Changed the computer's DNS to Cloudflare's for both IPv4 and IPv6
– Changed the browser's DNS to Cloudflare's
– Manually added Brave as a safe app in the firewall
– Disabled Brave's protection on recognized verification pages.
– I've checked that Cloudflare cookies aren't blocked.
Temporary tests:
– I tried disabling Brave's safe browsing mode.
– I tried running the process from an incognito window: This completed the process.
– I tried disabling all Brave extensions: This also worked.
Does anyone know how to fix this problem so I don't have to disable all extensions every time I need to verify? If it's due to extensions, which ones are actually causing problems? Because, for example, the official Google extensions don't cause any issues.
