\[A Video Scrubbed of Metadata, is uploaded from Marcus' account\]
\*The video opens with Marcus facing away from the camera, hands behind his back, looking across Lake Michigan from an undeveloped part its shore in the rain, his Machete hangs by his side in its sheath. He's soaking wet.\*
"So, Some of the Sheapards think it's a good idea to come at the Mad King. I'd respect their courage if it wasn't so steeped in foolishness. Assuming this isn't some Sabbat trick."\*Marcus says with amused contempt, still looking across the Great Lake\*
"Though it matters little, war has been forced upon the Mad King and his Childier. They have attacked us, shown us that we can't hide by finding the Vault, opening it, and robbing its contents, both of coin and Kindred history." \*There is an unshakable certainty in his voice .\*
"This leaves us with only two options, run or fight. And the enemy will not stop chasing us until we are ash on the wind."\*Marcus says matter of factly.\*
\*He turns to face the camera, fixing the camera with an intense stare\*
"With that in mind… ARCHIVIST, I need to know if the people who attacked the Vault on their way to Chicago! I need to know who they are and how dangerous they are so I can determine whether or not me, Fracture, Violet, and if it proves necessary Len and his childier need to evacuate the city in order to protect the Domain and uphold the traditions until this war is over as part of my extended duties as Clan Whip! For all their talk of upholding the laws of Haqim the Shepherds of Ur-Shughi show an alarming disregard for collateral damage when they really want you dead!
Knight! Could you please do your brother a favor and ask if ms. Grimaldi would be willing to help Phantom with our financial situation. Violet tells me it's one of the Grimaldi's specialties. Make sure she's safe as well! She's from arguably the most valuable Revenant line in existence.
The Shepherds of Ur-Shughi follow the Path of Blood, a Path of enlightenment that outright encourages Serial Diablerie and the Tremere blood curse has been broken."
"IN THE NAME OF THE DARK FATHER!"\*An unfamiliar voice bellows.\*
\*A Sabbat shovel head charges at Marcus from outside of the camera frame, only to be swiftly grabbed, put on the ground, and staked.\*
" I'll take that as my cue to leave before the rest of this guy's pack shows up."\*Marcus says as he draws his Machete, his voice and face laced with no small amount of irritation\*
