Windows shows “No Internet access”, but browsers work fine while Windows Update & Microsoft Store fail

Hi everyone,

I'm having a weird network issue on Windows. The network icon in the taskbar shows "No Internet access" (or a globe icon indicating disconnected), but my web browsers (Chrome/Firefox/Edge) work completely fine and load websites without issues.

However, system services and native apps that rely on Windows' network status are broken:

Windows Update gives connection errors and won't check for updates.

Microsoft Store and apps like Spotify / Discord won't connect.

What I have tried so far:

Restarted the PC and router.

Flushed DNS (ipconfig /flushdns).

Ran network troubleshooter (it didn't detect the root cause).

Does anyone know how to force Windows to properly recognize the active connection? Any help or troubleshooting steps would be greatly appreciated!
