I run outbound for a B2B Saas in the HR tech space and we sell to mid market ops and people teams. ICP is pretty defined, list quality is generally solid and I've been able to isolate tool performance pretty well.
Realized at some point I'd never actually stress tested our stack. I inherited a setup two years ago and kept patching it as it broke. But reply rates across the industry are sitting at 1-4% right now so felt like the time was right for a change.
I ran parallel campaigns over 90 days rotating across a few tools. What I tracked: deliverability, warm up quality, pricing at scale and support. Didn't care about UI tbh.
Instantly is solid, always has been. My issue is the warm up network is large enough now that it's also saturated which I think contributed to some deliverability variance as the test went on. Pricing also starts to sting once you scale past a few seats. Averaged 2.4% which I think is more an inbox placement issue than a copy issue
Reachinbox was a pleasant surprise. Deliverability held up better than I expected, warmup network felt active so to me that means not bot heavy. Pricing is noticeably cheaper than Instantly at the same volume. Support got an actual response to a deliverability question within a few hours. Reply rate averaged around 3.1% over the test, more than the others I tried here
What this test did prove was that inbox infrastructure matters. A lot of the deliverability complaints I see in this sub sre actually DNS and custom tracking domain problem
Happy to go deeper on methodology, I ran around 12k emails total across the test fyi
