Does anyone else put one toe (vm) in the cloud for all your dns, reverse proxy, tls termination, etc?

So by paying for just one small VM you can set up traefik or nginx and terminate tls there and do reverse proxy and lets encrypt. And then expose as much or as little of your homelab as you want to the internet.

Worth it or playing with fire?
