Looking to get some advice here. I've got a 5-6 week stint where I'd want to post up and stuck between Malta and Montenegro.
What I'm hoping for is:
– Enough DNs to connect with but not an overwhelming community
– Access to nice beaches
– Access to neighboring countries for 1-2 quick weekends
– I know Montenegro is cheaper than Malta
– I've found some colivings in both, but they look like they're on the younger side. I'm 40 and I'd prefer to not be surrounded by a lot of 20-somethings for the entire time but rather prefer a mix of ages, etc. Does anybody have any insight on either/both countries?
– If I end up self-housing, what are some places in either/both countries where I can still meet DNs/expats/locals easily?
– If I end up not staying near a beach area, is having a car/scooter for a month financially feasible in either/both?
Ultimately, I'm hoping for a mix of solo time and accessible community.
