Alexa and Cloudflare

Hi all ,

i've been going mad trying to setup the alexa skill integration , while protecting the connection with clodflare.

I've followed the official guide and set it up without problem. Then i decided to add cloudflare zero trust to protect the connection.

I tried to follow the various posts that are around, mainly this one. Home Assistant App Alexa and Brower access secured with CloudFlare : r/homeassistant

My probem is I go to enable the skill , i get prompted the HA login page , i login successfully and then I get back to the Alexa app that throws an error: "Unable to link the skill at this time".

This is my setup so far :

AWS

• AlexaHAintegrazion : Main lambda function with this code https://gist.githubusercontent.com/btoconnor/796dbcbf2e713cd80bcf1aa28e14392e/raw/177ab86ed85d11f7bdc410f7629ca56156613dd2/existing_file.py
• AuthWrapperForHAintegrazion : Auth wrapper lambda function with code from here https://gist.githubusercontent.com/btoconnor/796dbcbf2e713cd80bcf1aa28e14392e/raw/177ab86ed85d11f7bdc410f7629ca56156613dd2/wrapper.py with function URL enabled and set to unrestricetd

Clouflare

• clouflare tunnel
• DNS entry for ha.mydomain.com
• Apllication pointing to home assistant hostname
• service token
• Access policies set as "service token" and action as "Service auth"

Alexa skill

• Default endpoint : pointing to the main lambda function AlexaHaIntegration
• v3
• Web authorization URI : https://ha.mydomain.com/auth/authorize
• Access Token URI : Auth wrapper integration URL + /auth/authorize
• Your Client ID : https://layla.amazon.com/

Does anyone see what mistake i made ? As soon as i sort this out i'll write a detailed guide for everyone to use in the future 🙂
