Hi everyone! After spending too much time switching between browser tools, terminal commands, and tiny utility apps, I decided to build the kind of toolbox I wanted to use every day: Hexa DevKit. It’s a native macOS toolbox with 36 tools for JSON, YAML, XML, JWT, hashes, regex, diffs, URLs, dates, colors, images, API requests, WebSockets, and more. It includes tabs, saved workspaces, drag-and-drop file workflows, and customizable editors. 33 tools work completely offline. API, DNS, and WebSocket features only connect after an explicit action. There’s no account, analytics, advertising, or paid tier. I know there are already excellent projects in this space: – DevUtils is a polished native macOS utility app with a compact utility focus. Hexa DevKit is broader, with 36 tools plus multi-tab workspaces, saved sessions, editor customization, and selected network tools. I’m not trying to replace either one — both are useful. I simply wanted a toolbox that felt more like a Mac app and fit the way I work. If you try it, I’d be grateful for your feedback, especially on the tools you use most.
