ClearPass Guest Captive Portal Integration with UniFi Access Points

Hello,

I have deployed UniFi Access Points and would like to use ClearPass Guest as the captive portal.

However, I am facing a few issues:

• In the UniFi External Portal Server configuration, I can only specify the IP address of the external portal. There is no option to enter a domain name or a specific portal URL.
• In ClearPass Guest > Page Configuration, there is no predefined UniFi vendor available. Only generic/custom options are available.

Has anyone successfully implemented this integration?

Is it possible to integrate the UniFi captive portal with ClearPass Guest, or are there any limitations that prevent this from working?

If someone has implemented this scenario, I would appreciate any advice, configuration tips, or possible workarounds.
