I need advice. Client is driving me crazy!

I have a WordPress website client on my multi-site hosting plan. I manage it for her, but she recently requested access to it so she can edit it herself. Apparently, I wasn't fast enough when it came to updating her website.

**** For context:

I developed the original website and provided annual updates, maintenance, and hosting for $200. It was going well… until she started using A.I. She sent me 5-6 new pages generated by Gemini and Claude. They had a design and a color palette that were both different from the original website. These are obviously a website redesign, not updates. Ugh

I made the changes anyway. It took a few weeks because the A.I. tool generated bad HTML and CSS. Each page had its own styles. Same colors, but different CSS selectors for similar properties. Inconsistency went "down the drain." Ugh

After I finished, she gave me a few more changes to make…in one HTML file…and they were a completely different design and color palette. Ugh

I made the changes anyway. It took maybe a week. It would have taken less, but I procrastinated and had difficulty figuring out where exactly to place things. The generated copy (text) was somewhat incomprehensible, so I just copied and pasted to make it easier for me. To be fair, English is the client's second language, and her business is mainly in an African nation.

Back to today's headache… I installed the "Simple History" plugin because I knew my client would poke around and change things. She has no experience with WordPress that I know of, but it looks like A.I. or YouTube videos are teaching her the basics. I disabled her access to the page builder (not the block editor). Thank God. She uploaded a few pictures, including copies of each, last night. I don't know if there was a reason or if it was an accident. The pictures, file names, and media titles looked very similar, aside from WordPress's standard naming process, so I deleted the unnecessary pictures because I don't want my storage space to increase unnecessarily. Ugh

I started working with this client a few years ago on Network Solutions and their website builder. I hated it, and they kept charging me for the simplest line items that I could have included for free with my current host. I was fed up and offered to transfer the entire, simple 5-page site to WordPress on my host, for free, and put it on a different domain. The client was okay with that. The website was one year old or younger.

I had a contract in the beginning, but it did not specify any of these things… I think… I'm pretty sure… I will check again.

I forgot to mention that the client wants access to my hosting account so she can check her email problem. She claims that certain domain-level emails disappeared in a short span of a few days recently but were restored. It seems odd, but possible. I denied her request for obvious reasons (I can't actually do it due to 2FA, security concerns, privacy concerns, and having other clients on my hosting plan).

Please advise. What can be done? I'm so done with this client. She's nice and friendly, but so out of touch with the reality of website development (partially thanks to A.I., I think), and she's demanding. Who wants to take her off my hands? Please take her!!
