Because Google is trying to decide what I can or cannot install on my phone, I am starting to look more at Huawei phones. I have a bunch of questions:
- Is it possible to change my DNS?
- How do the Tailscale and Proton apps work, especially the Proton VPN?
- Can you download apps from the Aurora Store, F-Droid, or GitHub? Does MicroG work for Huawei, or does it have its own way to access Google apps?
- How do bank apps work?
- Does the OS look and feel like MIUI/Hyper OS? Does it have ads, and how is its usability?
- Does ADB work through Wi-Fi and cable?
- Does Shizuku work well?
- Since I'm not in the US, will I have any problems?
- How do the phones perform compared to the S26 Ultra?
