Where domain hunters compare notes

I got tired of downloading games split into dozens of parts, so I built MoonDownloader.

Like many people here, I was tired of downloading games split into dozens (sometimes hundreds) of files.

The workflow was always the same:

– Open every link manually.

– Click Download over and over.

– Hope nothing fails halfway through.

– Repeat.

So I started building MoonDownloader, an open-source download manager focused on making this process as painless as possible.

Current features:

• Queue hundreds of downloads

• Download multiple files simultaneously

• Automatic resume for interrupted downloads

• Native support for DataNodes

• Native support for FuckingFast

• Automatic extraction of direct download links

• Modern GUI with a headless CLI available as well

• Lightweight, MIT licensed and completely free

One thing I'm particularly happy with is how it handles DataNodes. If your queue only contains FuckingFast links, it doesn't even launch a browser. If DataNodes links are present, it opens a single shared Chrome instance only when needed to solve the required challenge, then continues downloading everything in parallel.

The goal isn't to add hundreds of hosters or become an all-purpose download manager.

The goal is to make downloading large direct-download releases as simple as:

  1. Paste your links.

  2. Click Start.

  3. Let it handle the rest.

It's still under active development, so I'd really appreciate feedback from people who actually use direct-download sites.

What features would make a tool like this genuinely useful for you?
