Used a Reddit post and installed a Diablo 2 theme, being a big fan when it came out originally. I used his dot files below.
If you use the Original Icons, it does look better (see Original Post). In my image, I used Bone Icons for a similar type of look. This view is Alt-F3 on my MX Linux with XFCE DE, but the OS doesn't really matter. MX is a fork of Debian if you're curious.

Instructions:
Download and save the GTK & Wall folder to /usr/share/themes
Download and save the Icons of your choice (Original or Bone Icons) to /usr/share/icons
