I wanted to post a warning in case anyone else with a Paradise Inn / Mount Rainier reservation gets something similar.
I have a legitimate upcoming reservation at Paradise Inn through Rainier Guest Services. Today I received a WhatsApp message claiming to be a “reservation follow-up” and saying my booking had not been verified yet.
The message included real reservation details such as the property name and stay dates, which made it look convincing at first. It then told me I had to “verify” the reservation within 24 hours or the room might be released.
A few major red flags:
- The WhatsApp account was using a +57 Colombia number
- The business profile name was “UAMS Centros Médicos EPS Sanitas – Keralty”, which has nothing to do with Mount Rainier
- The link went to copmsitesview.com, not the official Rainier Guest Services website
- The message used urgency and mentioned a temporary payment hold for “verification”
I did not click the link.
I checked the official Rainier Guest Services / NPS information separately, and this does not appear to be a legitimate reservation verification process.
What concerns me most is that the sender seems to have had access to some real booking information, so this may be targeted phishing rather than a completely random scam.
If you have a Paradise Inn reservation and receive a WhatsApp/text asking you to verify your booking, do not use the link in the message. Contact Rainier Guest Services directly using the phone number or website listed on their official site.
Posting this so hopefully nobody loses money or compromises their card information.
Has anyone else with a Paradise Inn or National Park lodging reservation received one of these?
Update: I checked the WHOIS for the phishing domain.
copmsitesview.comwas registered on September 19, 2026 – the exact same day I received the WhatsApp message. The domain uses NameSilo as registrar and Cloudflare nameservers. That makes this look even more like a newly created phishing site rather than anything associated with Rainier Guest Services.
The fact that the scammer knew my actual reservation details could indicate leaked or compromised booking data somewhere in the reservation chain
