Can’t connect to online services in FC 27 due to EA app error

After the "launching game" process completes, I get this error from the EA app.

This causes the EA app to go into offline mode, and I can't connect to EA services in the game. I have tried:

1. Logging in and out
2. Repairing EA app
3. Clearing cache manually
4. Reinstalling EA app
5. Flushing dns cache
6. Restarting my laptop
