New psp or just never used it?

So I bought this PSP 1001 and in the picture it looked immaculate, came with charger and the psp factory carrying case and an a orange memory stick of 256mb the only thing that didn’t came with was the battery witch I didn’t mind at all I was like if it don’t work I’d just use it for parts and when it arrived today I turned it on and it was still like factory system as in nothing has been touch it hasn’t been updated nothing it’s still running the version 1.50 the original version when psp launch in US, so I’m just wondering if I got lucky with this psp or what
It’s practically nice , I put videos in the comment since it don’t let me upload it here on editing . I don’t even wanna touch it or upgrade it nothing just leaving it like that all original tbh , what yall think ?
