Finally got my desk setup to a point where I'm actually happy with it, so I figured I'd share it. Earlier this year it was basically a spaghetti monster (last photo).
I use it both for work (you can spot the small laptop dock attached to the left monitor) and gaming, with my desktop PC hiding behind the chair. The desk itself is completely custom-built by me.
It's currently a triple-monitor setup, although I’m planning to switch to an ultrawide + vertical monitor next year. On the left is my little retro corner with a Sony Trinitron CRT, PS1 and PS2. Probably my favorite part of the whole setup.
I don't really use RGB for the sake of RGB. Most of it is just ambient backlighting for when the room is dark, because sitting in complete darkness with three bright monitors is basically eye torture for me. I'm also planning to add some simple white under-desk lighting, similar to the retro stand.
Still a work in progress, but I'm getting pretty happy with it. Any ideas on how I could take it further? Maybe something on the wall?
And there's one more thing hiding under the desk: my little home network/lab, where I run several Linux servers for DNS filtering, monitoring, and other stuff. If anyone's interested, I can share more about that too. 😄
