1st Attempt at Networking & Homelab

Sarted with wanting a NAS to back up some photos then spiralled…

Please can you advise on my proposal, I suppose my end goal is resilience from the net; with objectives being:

• Back-up documents, files work etc.
• Back-up of media (personal photos & videos), now expanded to films
• Media server (Jellyfin & Plex)
• Local cloud storage (NVR cameras, also manuals, books & Wiki (using Kiwix)
• Data protection & independence in case of web loss (Element of prepping but also ease).

1st image is my attempt, then second is GPT's spin, im not a network engineer, but keen to learn.

Finally snapped at the amount of ads everywhere on the web, so looking into self hosting media, and ad blockers.

Thank you
