What actually helps when streaming keeps buffering?

I’ve been trying to figure out why streaming sometimes buffers even when the internet speed seems fine.

A few things that seem worth checking before blaming the streaming service:

• Using Ethernet instead of Wi-Fi
• Trying a different DNS
• Restarting the router occasionally
• Clearing the streaming app’s cache
• Making sure other devices aren’t using too much bandwidth
• Checking whether the problem happens on one device or multiple devices

I’m curious what has actually made a noticeable difference for other people.

Did switching to Ethernet or changing DNS help in your case, or was the problem caused by something else?
