Hey everyone,
Is anyone else from Europe suddenly getting routed to North American servers today? I usually play on ams1 or cdg1 with around 30-40ms, but today the matchmaking keeps forcing me into gue4 (Washington DC) and I'm stuck at a constant 155ms.
It is 100% not my internet or my hardware:
- My speedtest shows 500 Mbps download and 11ms ping.
- My CMD ping to Google (8.8.8.8) is a rock-solid 10ms with zero packet loss.
The only temporary workaround I've found is using Cloudflare WARP. When I turn it on, the game finally puts me back into ams1, but I get 80ms due to the VPN routing instead of my normal ping.
I've already submitted a ticket to Blizzard support with the screenshots, but I wanted to know if anyone else in EU is experiencing this routing bug today or if someone has found a permanent fix (like flushing DNS, which didn't work for me).
