Dude, if you run your own server like a VPS on DigitalOcean or AWS EC2 and host your own BIND 9 DNS server, you gotta listen up right now. Researchers just found fourteen serious security flaws in BIND 9, and it could crash your site at any second. One of the worst bugs lets literally anyone crash your whole DNS process with just a single fake request if you use DNS-over-HTTPS. They dont even need a password or anything. When your DNS crashes, your whole site vanishes from the internet and people get timeouts, even if your web server is totally fine. To make it worse, there are zero workarounds or quick fixes for this. The only way to save your stuff is to log into your server through SSH and update to the new BIND version right away before hackers start using this to knock people offline.
