Where domain hunters compare notes

I built a website monitoring SaaS and Reddit users are already changing how I think about the positioning

I’ve been building a SaaS called Web Analyser for the past few months.
The idea started pretty simply: instead of using separate tools for accessibility, performance, SEO, security and other website checks, I wanted one platform that could continuously monitor the overall technical health of a website.

Web Analyser can crawl multiple pages and run checks across accessibility, performance, SEO, security, privacy, frontend health, technologies, DNS and other areas. Scans can be run manually or continuously on a schedule.

My initial target is mainly agencies, developers and teams managing multiple websites.
A few days ago I added a free audit request where anyone can submit a website without creating an account or entering a credit card. I run the scan and send them the report:
https://web-analyser.com/request-an-audit

I posted it on Reddit mainly because I wanted real websites to test against, and the feedback so far has actually been more useful than I expected.

One person said the report looked good, but questioned how much additional value it provides compared with Lighthouse or PageSpeed. That’s fair feedback, especially since the free audit intentionally covers only a smaller subset of what the full platform does — mainly common accessibility, SEO and performance checks. The actual application goes much deeper, with continuous monitoring, additional security scanning, privacy checks, frontend health, API security and other modules. Still, it made me realize that the distinction between the free audit and the full product probably isn’t clear enough yet.
.
Another pointed out that I need to be very clear about whether I’m building for developers or non-technical website owners, because the way results are presented should probably be very different for those two audiences.

And interestingly, someone running a small studio immediately saw a different use case: using the reports when pitching clients and backing recommendations with actual findings.
That last one is particularly close to how I’ve been thinking about the agency side of the product.
I’m still very early and deliberately trying to get real usage and feedback before pushing harder on growth.

If you’re building websites, running an agency/studio, or just have your own SaaS website, I’d be happy to run it through Web Analyser and send you the report.

I’m also very interested in how other micro-SaaS founders approached this stage: did your initial positioning survive contact with your first users, or did you end up discovering a different use case than the one you originally built for?
