Best registration options for new businesses and domains… kind of stuck

Hi, been spinning up a tiny business site and im getting a bit lost on the whole registration side. Stuff like do I bother with LLC right away or just start as sole prop, what is worth paying for on the domain side like privacy, extra security, dns management etc.

For context I mostly just want a clean custom domain, maybe branded email, and not shoot myself in the foot with something dumb that is hard to change later. Would love any tips from folks who already went through this, appreciate any thoughts
