Best registration options for new businesses and domains… kind of stuck

Hi, been spinning up a tiny business site and im getting a bit lost on the whole registration side. Stuff like do I bother with LLC right away or just start as sole prop, what is worth paying for on the domain side like privacy, extra security, dns management etc.

For context I mostly just want a clean custom domain, maybe branded email, and not shoot myself in the foot with something dumb that is hard to change later. Would love any tips from folks
