Paid for a domain, GoDaddy charged me instantly, but it’s been stuck in “pending provisioning” for over 24 hours still shows as “available to buy” on their own site

Bought a .lol domain (takemesomewhere.lol) from GoDaddy on Sept 12. Payment went through immediately, got a receipt, $0 balance due, order confirmed (#4182545435).

Except… the domain never actually showed up in my account. "My Products > Domains" said "You don't have any domains yet." Went to double check by searching the domain on GoDaddy itself, still listed as available to purchase, like I never bought it.

Contacted support. First agent confirmed: yep, charge and subscription are active, but the domain is stuck in a "recurring state" and needs to "reflect." Told me to wait 120–190 minutes, standard timeframe up to 24 hours.

24+ hours later, still nothing. Domain Portfolio still says "No registered domains." Still shows as buyable in search. Contacted support again, got told basically the same thing: wait more.

Meanwhile I've got a live site on Vercel waiting on this domain to finish DNS validation, which obviously can't happen because the domain isn't even fully registered yet on GoDaddy's end.

I'm paying for a domain that, according to GoDaddy's registry lookup, doesn't belong to me and is still available to others. Not exactly confidence-inspiring for a company whose entire business is domain registration.

Anyone else run into this? Did it eventually resolve on its own, or did you have to push hard for escalation to actually get it fixed?
