Hello all, I started the Footprinting Module on Academy and it seems most of the answers are just trying to find a needle in a haystack. The DNS and SMTP had me trying dozens of wordlists and tools to get it to work. I feel like i'm not learning anything besides "Google everything, throw everything at the wall, and keep trying every tool in the book". It also seems like the modules aren't really worth reading half the time, as the answers come from google.
Is there a way to cut down on the time methodology wise? I'd like to be able to work smarter and harder instead of just the former. thanks
