Task 1 was wrapped up today. That was a beast. I probably over-engineered everything, but I got the outputs they wanted. Hoping for the best. Now, on to Task 2.
I have a few questions about what they're really asking for. I've read the rubric and the supporting documentation. None of it is super clear. I am not looking for help with coding or runtime, I just need to know what they are wanting submitted:
- Requirement B – when they say they want "backup configurations" for both of the DNS servers, do they mean the BIND configuration or their own name resolution config (like the configs we had to pull for Task 1)?
- Requirement C – Are they wanting the scripts to be running continuously on a loop or on an interval? Either is fine, just looking for guidance on the overall methodology.
