Hey all. I run DataStreak, a hit-rate and props research site covering NBA, NHL, NFL, MLB, WNBA, college basketball, college football and UFC. Some of you have used the original version. Today we launched V2, a ground-up rebuild at a new home: datastreak.com.
Disclosure up front: this is my product and I am posting to announce it. There are no picks on the site and nobody there is selling any. It is a data tool. You do the thinking. Mods, if this breaks a rule, pull it and I will not argue.
Why a rebuild instead of an update
V1 was never built to carry eight leagues. Time zone handling and per-sport stat mapping were the two things that bit us most: a game landing on the wrong date, or a prop stat pointed at the wrong column for one sport. V2 fixes the foundations. Every timestamp is stored once and displayed in ET, every prop stat has exactly one mapping per sport, and the boards are precomputed overnight and cached so they load fast instead of grinding through game logs on every click. Same tools you knew, more accurate, plus a lot of new ones.
The free stuff (this is the part I actually want you to read)
Make a free account (no card) and these are yours, full data, unlimited:
- Hit Rate Sheets. One row per active player, hit rate at every line over the last 5, 10 or 20 games, using the lines the books actually post rather than round numbers. Filter by opponent defense rank, hide injured players, or narrow it to tonight's slate. This is the tool most people come for and it is free on purpose.
- Game Dashboard. The pre-game hub for every game on the slate: odds, team comparison, starting pitchers, roster context.
- Team Rankings. Per-league offense and defense rankings grid, so you can see what a prop is actually up against.
- NewsRadar. Injury reports as they break.
- Transactions. Roster moves, signings and call-ups. The boring feed that decides whether a prop even exists tonight.
The live view of Line Movement (what moved today across props and game lines) is open to everyone too.
No account at all still gets 5 tool views a day, so you can kick the tires before you sign up for anything.
Most premium boards also show their top rows to free accounts. Real rows from today's board, not a screenshot, so you can see what a tool does before deciding whether it is worth paying for.
What is behind the paywall
30 tools. Premium is $1 for a 7-day trial, then $49.99 a month or $399 a year. Cancel in a few clicks from your account page, no email to anyone required.
What is in season right now
NFL, college football, MLB, WNBA and UFC are live today. NHL boards open when the puck drops on the 29th, NBA on October 20, college hoops in early November. Off-season leagues show a countdown instead of stale data.
Things worth knowing
- Hit rates are counts of real games. "Cleared the line in 8 of his last 10" means exactly that. We do not turn odds into a "chance" number. An odds figure is a price and we show it as one.
- Data refreshes every morning by 5 AM ET and odds update through the day.
- If anything on the site reads like a pick, that is a bug and I want to hear about it.
- 21+ where applicable. Bet what you can afford to lose.
